| Categories | Organizational groups that collect related cost items within a project or template. Examples include Electrical, Framing, Plumbing, and Finishing. |
| Cost Items | Specific budget or expense entries used to track costs within a category. For example, an Electrical category might include Rough Electrical and Final Electrical. |
| Templates | Reusable project structures that help create new projects with the appropriate categories and cost items. Examples include a bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, office setup, single-family home, or detached garage. Each template should reflect the needs of its project type; for example, a detached garage would not typically include kitchen-related cost items. |
